Hi there, so you want to learn how to play the piano? Well, my decade of experience in music has taught me that the key to playing an instrument is loving music. I have studied piano under teachers from Ankara University State Conservatory and Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University. I have studied mallet percussion at Istanbul State Conservatory. I placed 2nd twice at the Western Classical Music Competition held in the capital of Turkey.
I have performed with my high school's jazz and symphonic band at many concerts and competitions, where we placed first in Virginia and South Carolina. I have also given many recitals in Turkey and have accompanied choirs both with piano and mallet percussion. I have a wide range of repertoire spanning from Beethoven and Chopin to Gershwin and Latin music. This fall, I will continue my music journey with George Mason's music program. My dream is to share my passion for music with you. Do not forget, "To play a wrong note is insignificant. To play without passion is inexcusable!"

Hello future musicians, my name is Orhan Emre Gürler. I have 10 years of piano experience, 3 and a half years of guitar and ukulele experience, and 5 years of cello experience in my music career. I took part in the performances of the Bursa Nilufer Youth Choir, in Turkey. In the USA, I have been in choirs in different states of America, and for 2 years I have been a part of group performances at Moravian University and Moravian Academy, one of the fragrant schools in the USA. I took a music theory course and an 8-year piano course.
I have taught children different subjects before and improved my child-teacher relationship skills. I took courses on Ottoman art and music history at Respect graduate school and took courses on Western European music history at Moravian University.
Although I concentrate more on neoclassicism, I have both practical and theoretical knowledge of the music of most periods. I love teaching. It's a pleasure to see their progress and contribute to their improvement in their musical life. I am still learning and teaching. And I look forward to helping the following students.
